Spooky month is just around the corner, and even though I don't celebrate Hallowe'en (Užgavėnės is better), I still think it is nice to commemorate it by watching a couple of horror movies or consuming some other bone-chilling, spine-tingling media.
I don‘t watch much horror myself, but to start I‘d recommend Mieruko-chan, a manga about a girl who can see spirits, but tries her hardest to ignore them
(even though it‘s not really scary, just a SoL gag comedy with jumpscares in-between). I‘ve started reading it just a day ago, but am liking it so far. Borscht is mentioned in the very second chapter, so that means the manga is good, right?

The other recent read was The Bookworm: a short oneshot about a girl who falls for a nerd in a bookstore. Was it good?
Meh. I found it to be enjoyable for such a short read, although it‘s not the best.

As for non-weebshit media: I guess I‘ll rewatch The Shining. A great movie overall and the twin scene has haunted me for years during childhood.
